The worst part about massages is it’s impossible for two people to knead each other’s muscles at the same time. Not very well, anyways. This is a problem. The whole, “I massage you, you massage me” routine never works because somebody’s gotta lose. If you get the first rub down, the last thing you want to do in that lulled state is work the other’s back.

Guests also have access to the Pan Pacific outdoor pool & hot tub with views of the north shore mountains. We walked out nearly three hours later, our eyes glazed over, completely sedated, as if walking from a 2-day binge at an opium den.
