Day 46 – Boneless Buffalo Chicken Fix in Vancouver
After a hard day of snowboarding I always crave the two same things, beer and boneless buffalo Chicken. I think this craving started due to my buddy taking me to the GLC in Whistler on a regular basis for a jug of Kokanee and the chicken T’N’A (a blog post for another day). Don’t get me wrong I love a good standard hot wing, but there is something to be said for popping the spicy bits of heaven in your mouth with no concern of choking or the time delay involved in deboning.
In Vancouver my go to spot is The Cactus Club. They do not have this item on the menu at the moment, but with some modification they will happily serve up some of the best spicy chicken in the city. Order the chili chicken… ask for it baked in hot sauce… and get a side of creamy parm. I think I like this dish even more because they are making it special order for me… thumbs up to cactus club.
