Day 17 – Get Sum Dim Sum @ Szechuan Chongqing
I love me some good Dim Sum. For those of you who have not had Dim Sum or don’t know what it is:
#1. It is a Cantonese term for a type of Chinese dish that involves small individual portions of food, usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.
#2. You are missing out
I have been to a plethora of Dim Sum restaurants around the Lower Mainland, but the best value (dishes starting at $3.25) and food quality is at Szechuan Chongqing on West Broadway in Vancouver. Must haves include the Szechuan beans, pork and shrimp dumplings, spareribs in black bean sauce, spicy rock salt prawns, and spicy squid… this can all be capped off with some delicious egg tarts for dessert.
The adventurous type can go for the chickens feet…
